About Us

Who We are

The Rainier Ramblers RV Club, established in June 1985, is one of the nine chapters of  the WIT Club in Washington State.  Ownership of a Winnebago RV (Winnebago, Itasca, Sunnybrook, County Coach) product and WIT Club membership are requirements for chapter membership.  Our membership is primarily comprised of people over 50 years of age and from the greater South Puget Sound area.  Occupations represented are (in alphabetical order) accounting, construction, banking, business, engineering, insurance, legal, manufacturing, military and public service.

Why you should join our Club

As an owner of a Winnebago RV, we know you have a love of the outdoors and the open road, and have that in common with our members.  We enjoy sharing RV experiences and learn from each other.  It may even help you avoid some of the ‘not-so-fun experiences’ that other members have had!  Our outings are all about good family fun and the camaraderie that RV owners enjoy.

When We meet

Outing or Rallies are held monthly, April through November with a Holiday party in December and are typically the second weekend of each month.  The outing schedule is posted on the Web site under Event Information

Where We meet

Outings are typically held at RV parks and campgrounds within a 125-mile radius of the greater South Puget Sound area.

Typical outing / meeting

Members volunteer to host outings, and these ‘wagon masters/hosts’ plan an itinerary for the weekend.

Friday is the scheduled ‘arrival’ day (many arrive in a day or two early.)  Events for the outing will be posted on the bulletin board outside the park clubhouse.

Saturday is ‘activity day.’  It may include local activities, sites or tours, playing cards, crafts, golfing, shopping, or whatever might interest you.  Saturday afternoon we have a club business meeting.  Saturday evening is our group dinner.  It might be a potluck with members bringing a dish to share, or the wagon masters/hosts set a theme and provides the meal.  There is always great food and lots of laughter.

Before heading home on Sunday morning, the day begins with a light breakfast that the wagon masters/hosts have planned in advance.

The Current outing schedule us posted under Events on the club website.
